Paper Abstract:      New technologies are revolutionizing just about everything we do from the way we access the news, keep in touch with friends and colleagues, buy goods and services, entertain ourselves and do our jobs. A recent publication by the Conference Board of Canada predicts far-reaching implications of the rapid technology evolution for the office of 2020 with a call to action for educators to “respond without delay”. This paper gives details of the blended .learning strategy being used in a large introductory undergraduate business course aimed at helping students develop the soft-skills (e.g., tech-savviness, critical thinking, tolerance for ambiguity, teamwork, etc.) needed to thrive as managers in the workplace of the future. Preliminary findings and student feedback on the effectiveness of the approaches taken will be offered along with some practical tips and the next steps being considered to advance this research.
